Teenage victim in canopy collapse dies

KOTA KINABALU: One of the five workers who were injured when a portion of the glass cantilever canopy
collapsed at the main entrance of Imago Complex at KK Times Square here on Monday, died of internal head injuries yesterday.
Fitri Munir, 18, from Kampung Likas, was pronounced dead by doctors at 4.15pm.
City police chief Assistant Commissioner M. Chandra said the police had classified the case as sudden dead.
He added that the remaining four victims were still under doctors’ observation but reported to be stable.
