Modified Xbox One And Ps4 Will Offer 4K

Modified versions of both the Xbox One and PS4 will be capable of 4K video output,
we should expect them later this year according to Netflix,
perhaps the biggest current supplier of native 4K UHD content.

2015 is the year of the 4k TV and our Next Gen consoles will be keeping up with the trend by releasing newer updated versions.
Chief product officer Neil Hunt told a press conference, that Sony has “promised” a PS4 hardware revision that will increase the
video games console maximum video output to 4K. We suspect this will be the same time we see a slim version of Sony's PS4.

Forbes contacted Netflix for clarification on the subject to which the video streaming giant replied that they weren't in a position to speak on behalf of
Sony about their plans. Hunt speculates that both the PS4 and Xbox One consoles will have a traditional two-year hardware refresh which we would
most likely see around October or November.

Both Sony and Microsoft have refused to comment on the claims, although Sony did say: “Support for high-resolution 4K output for still images and
movie content is in consideration, but there are no further details to share at this time.”
